How to install FiveM scripts (the right way)
A clean, step-by-step guide to installing FiveM scripts on ESX, QBCore and standalone servers — without breaking your resources.

<!--seoboost-->
Installing FiveM scripts the right way — manifests, dependencies and load order — saves hours of debugging. Here's a clean, repeatable process for any ESX or QBCore server.
Before you start
Make sure your server is on a recent artifact and that you have a working framework (ESX, QBCore or Qbox). Most scripts also need oxmysql.
Step 1 — Download and extract
Grab the resource from your FiveM Deals account under Downloads and extract the folder.
Step 2 — Drop it into resources
Move the folder into your server's resources directory. Keep the original folder name unless the docs say otherwise.
Step 3 — Ensure it in server.cfg
Add `ensure resource-name` to your server.cfg, after your framework and oxmysql.
Step 4 — Configure
Open config.lua and match the settings to your framework. Restart and test on a dev server first.
Troubleshooting
- Resource won't start? Check the server console for the exact error.
- Database errors? Confirm oxmysql is running and the SQL was imported.
